School Supply List
Fees
All KMS Students pay the Chromebook fee. Sports fees are paid by participating students. SMART tag replacement fee is only if a tag is lost.
- Chromebook Usage Fee: $10.00
- 7th & 8th grade Sports Fee: $60.00 *One-time annual fee
- SMART tag replacement: $1.00
If you are unable to provide all necessary supplies, please contact your student's counselor, the school office, or your student's advisor.

General Supplies
- (1) 1.5-inch binder (with slip cover)
- (1) set of 8-tab dividers with folders
- (1) pencil pouch
- (2) highlighters (different colors)
- (24) pencils (sharpened preferred)
- (1) eraser
- (3) composition books
- (100) sheets of notebook paper (college-ruled)
- 8th grade math: (1) graphing composition notebook
Optional Supplies
- Headphones for Chromebook
- Calculator
- Pens/colored pencils/markers
- Sticky notes
Physical Education Attire
- Non-platform tennis shoes with non-marking soles
- Shorts or sweatpants
- T-shirt with appropriate language and/or designs. No tank or crop tops.
Additional Class Supplies
Band
- Intermediate & Advanced Band Book: “Habits of a Successful Middle School Musician”
- Uniform: black shoes, black socks, black dress pants/long skirt, white button-up shirt, and black bow tie
- Three-ring Binder: 1-inch, black, with five dividers
- Folding music stand
- Percussion: bell kit/snare drum kit with a pair of wood tip drumsticks and a pair of hard rubber/plastic mallets
Choir
- $12 for choir t-shirt
- Uniform: black slacks, dress shoes, and black socks
- 1-inch 3-ring binder
Orchestra
- Violin/Viola: shoulder rest, rag, rosin
- Cello/Bass: rockstop, rag, rosin
- Uniform: black shoes, black socks, black dress pants/long skirt, white button-up shirt, and black bow tie
- 3-ring binder: 1-inch
- Recommended: folding music stand, metronome, tuner
*Students are expected to replenish supplies during the year as needed. Please check your child’s school supplies regularly and restock as needed.
